The 40th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Econometrics Study Group (CESG) was held in Ottawa, Ontario on October 17-19, 2025. The meeting was organized by the Department of Economics at Carleton University. The conference theme was “Credible Econometrics.”

The CESG began in the evening on October 17. During the day on October 17, the Workshop in Honour of the Distinguished Career of Professor Lynda Khalaf was also held at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel.

- Rate: $219 per night between Thursday October 16 - Monday October 20, 2025.

- The Ottawa International Airport (YOW) offers a wide range of domestic and international flights.
- Participants can use a taxi or a ride share service to travel from the airport to the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel (about 20 min).

- Downtown Ottawa is accesible via highway 417.
- Train Travel
- Ottawa is served by VIA Rail, providing train connections to various cities across Canada.
- You can use a taxi or a ride share service to travel from the train station to the conference hotel (about 15 min).

- Valet parking is available at the hotel at a daily rate of $35.00. Paid parking is also available at other locations in the area.

The 40th CESG Conference was organized by the Department of Economics at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, from October 17-19, 2025. The conference was held at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel.
The conference theme was “Credible Econometrics.” The keynote speakers were:

In addition to the CESG, a workshop to celebrate the distinguished career of our colleague Professor Lynda Khalaf was held on October 17, 2025, also at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel. All CESG participants were welcome to attend.
